About Vatupassi

Vatupassi is a family-owned company that specialises in the rental of tools and equipment. We operate in eight different locations around Finland: Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Nurmes, Oulu, Tampere, Turku and Kerava. In June 2020, we won the award for the best small rental company of the year at the European Rental Awards. We value skill and know-how, speaking your mind as well as a jovial attitude. In return, we promise there will be a minimal amount of nit-picking and pretentiousness. The well-being of our staff is our number one priority in everything we do, and we focus on it on a daily basis.

Here at Vatupassi we are of the opinion that every builder deserves to have appropriate tools and equipment. However, you don’t have to own everything yourself. We rent out equipment that is guaranteed to be high-quality, in good working order and just right for the job at hand – whether it is an apartment building project or the facilities for a summer music festival.

And if there aren’t any suitable vacancies available to you right now, don’t throw in the towel! We have open positions ranging from sales to maintenance and back again coming up from time to time. You can either focus on one area or dabble in a variety of different areas.

Every year, we are also looking for work experience trainees for the autumn and spring terms, as well as enthusiastic possible future Vatupassi recruits for summer jobs.

Our job and summer job applications are open all year round, but due to the seasonal nature of the summer job positions, we only start to go through the summer job applications in the early spring. The duration of all the Vatupassi summer job positions is from mid-May to the end of August.

As there are no education programmes available in the tool and equipment rental field, as of yet, we value all kinds of know-how and skills, from small machine repair to logistics, from the building and construction industry to a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and from auto mechanics to customer service. Your gender, background and other such variables don’t matter – the most important thing is that you’ve got the right attitude.
